❤️ Why we love it
Well, ideally you can pack two pairs of shoes: One pair of sandals, slides or flip-flops and one pair of these versatile hiking trainers. Being the perfect symbiosis between a sneaker and a hiking shoe, they won’t let you look ridiculous walking through the streets of Buenos Aires, while also giving you the extra comfort and grip you need to hike up a mountain in northern Thailand. Plus they’re super durable: I’ve worn these on all travel days and for every hike on our recent 6 months trip and they always look as good as new after cleaning off the mud with water. And believe me - there was a lot of mud!
🗒️ Things to note
Due to their North Face “Futurelight” membrane they’re even supposed to be waterproof - if you trust some reviews they’re not made to endure heavy rain though. I only came across some light showers while wearing them and they were holding up quite well!
Zoe Heyn
As much as I love travelling, I equally love planning and organising our next trips. Apart from crafting a good itinerary, I spend a lot of time researching the best travel gear and smart solutions for my travel wardrobe. The ultimate test for any product however is on the road, so once I'm convinced that I like an item, I like to share my tips and experiences with fellow travellers.
